5ª EDICIÓ 2025
In its fifth edition, the La Inesperada festival took place at the Filmoteca de Catalunya and the Zumzeig cinema in Barcelona from 21 to 25 February 2025. Its main guests were Kamal Aljafari, Jean-Baptiste Alazard, Antonia Rossi and Pere Alberó. The festival dedicated a spotlight to Argentine documentary cinema, and also carrying out the EXIT activity, a laboratory for the development of projects in the process of production.
El festival La Inesperada va celebrar la seva cinquena edició al febrer de 2025 a Barcelona.
The programme showcased local artists, raised the profile of international film movements and revived titles from other eras. Around 1,000 people attended the festival, improving on the media impact of previous editions.
